Course Overview

First Aid at Work is an HSE Approved course which meets the requirements of the Health and Safety Workplace Regulations (First Aid at Work) 1981. The course teaches people how to provide emergency care for someone in need with an emphasis on the workplace and Emergency Services being readily available. This course meets the standards of the new First Aid at Work Regulations which come into force on the 1st October 2009

Course Duration

3 days (18 Hours) of training is required.

  • Bandaging
  • Fractures and Splints
  • Anaphalactic Shock - EpiPen Use
  • Heart Attacks, Strokes, Diabetes, Epilepsy & Asthma treatment
  • Illness Assessments
  • Adult and Child treatments covered.
Costs

Open Course - £165 per person + VAT includes : Colour manual, A4 Wall Certificate, Plastic Card Certification, Personal Log Book and Qualification Expiry Reminder Service. Certification is for 3 years.
