Course Outline 

The Home Safety First Aid course is a half day course designed especially for those who want to have a degree of confidence and understanding of basic first aid skills for use in the home or non-workplace scenarios.

Course Topics

• The unconscious breathing casualty - identifying injuries and recovery position
• The Non-Breathing casualty - chest compressions and rescue breathing
• Bleeding Wounds
• Sprains and Strains
• Fractures
• Bandaging and Slings
• Allergic reactions
• Choking adults, children and babies

The course will include techniques for adults, children and babies.\
 

Course Cost

£25 + VAT including a certificate of attendance

Please note that this course is not suitable for those people who are acting as first aiders in the workplace, as this course does not comform to First Aid at Work regulations 1981.

Course delivery is Saturday Mornings.
