Course Overview

The Paediatric first aid course teaches participants how to provide emergency care for ill or injured children and infants. This course teaches the lay rescuer how to follow the same priorities of care as used by Medical Professionals.

This course meets the regulatory requirements for professional child care providers in the UK such as nannies, nursury carers and child-minders. This course is a full syllabus with a focus on quality of training.

  • Automated External Defibrillation for infants and children (AED)
  • Serious Bleeding
  • Shock Management
  • Spinal Injury Management

  • Burns and Scolds
  • Illness assessment including meningitus, febrile convulsions and sickle-cell
