Course Overview

This course is intended to provide delegates with an understanding of how to safely handle loads. It covers practical aspects of lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing and pulling loads. It also provides information on the human spinal system, risk assessment, the legal responsibility of employers to their employees and techniques for the prevention of accidents.

The course is accredited and certificated by Emergency First Response.

Course Duration

Half a day - either morning or afternoon. Can be delivered in the evenings if required to suit shift workers.
