Who the course is for

This course is specifically designed for safety officers, carers, or other employees who are nominated to take responsibility for evacuating people with reduced mobility from a workplace in the event of an emergency.

What the course covers

  • Understanding the legal requirements of the business
  • Being able to correctly prepare the evac chair for use
  • Safely loading and securing the evacuee
  • Operating the chair safely along corridors and staircases
  • Using correct manual handling techniques to avoid harm
  • Knowing how to put a Personal Evacuation Escape Plan together.

£499 + vat for up to 10 delegates
