We really like the look of your outfit!

Wednesday 21st June 2017

Cobley Transport at Broughton Astley have booked all their Driver CPC training with us because they said "We really like the look of your outfit!" Well we are so pleased that they do, as we have tried very hard to deliver a professional approach to Driver CPC. Cobley have been previously let down by another provider, so we are delighted that they have chosen us as a safe option to ensure they receive their hours. 80 drivers will be attending on various Saturdays to participate in our Driver Lifestyle and Well Being programme, which will include some live cooking demonstrations, beer tasting and our famous Beer Goggle challenge. I am sure they will be delighted with the course, and of course, they can rest assured about the quality of delivery and speed of uploading.

School Workshops on dealing with choking children

Tuesday 9th May 2017

Just Training offered some FREE short training workshops on how to deal with Choking Children, to the first 8 Infant and Primary schools in Leicestershire to respond to our offer, and 8 schools immediately took advantage of these really important workshops. Overdale, Danemill, Rutland and Farndon Fields have so far completed their training workshops and a further 4 are programmed in for May and June. All four schools that have completed so far, have stated how fantastic the training has been, and how those who have attended have learnt some really important skills on how to deal with children who suddenly choke. The training was initially put together for those who perhaps are not already trained in first aid, such as dinner monitors and classroom assistants, so that they can recognise when a child suddenly becomes quiet or panicked during meal times and take decisive quick action to save a childs live. It was sadly noted though that as soon as the free places were gone, schools just became disinterested in having to pay a small amount to have this training delivered on their own premises. At £180 for an onsite group session its a small price to pay compared to the loss of a child from a common, but sadly life threatening incident.
