Who the course is for

For first aiders who have previously achieved the First Aid at Work qualification and are due to re-qualify after the three year period.

  • Using an AED in the event of a cardiac arrest
  • Unconscious casualties
  • Choking children and adults
  • Bleeding wounds
  • Catastrophic bleeding and use of tourniquets.
  • Burns and Scalds
  • Head and Spinal Trauma
  • Heart attacks, Diabetes, Epilepsy, and many other ailments
  • Allergies and Anaphylaxis
  • Dealing with a range of illnesses.
  • New protocols for spinal trauma

Course Duration:
6 Hours of E-Learning to be completed prior to attending classroom training
1 day of Classroom Based Practical learning
