Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support
Who the course is for
The Level 2 Award in Basic Life Support is a Nationally recognised qualification that provides learners with the techniques to support a casualty in an emergency situation until professional help arrives
This course covers all requirements of the NHS and Care Quality Commission and is suitable for carers, GPs, GP Staff, home domestics and other people who may wish to have practical first aid skills.

- Assessing the incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- Recovery position
- How to deliver effective CPR to adults and children
- Dealing with choking children and adults.
There are 5 practical assessments that the learner must be able to demonstrate competency in, in order to become certificated.
