Who the course is for

This course is based on the Early Years syllabus for emergency first aid courses and is suitable for anyone who cares for children and infants, including nurseries, parents, grandparents, guardians and child minders. Fully accredited through Qualsafe Awards with a 3 year certificate.

What the course covers

  • First aid kits and legislation
  • Primary care and scene surveys
  • CPR and use of Defibrillators for infants and children
  • Dealing with an unconscious child or infant
  • Choking
  • Seizures
  • Minor Bleeding wounds
  • Minor burns
  • A range of minor first aid injuries
  • There are five practical skill assessments and 1 Multiple choice test as part of the certification requirements

Course Duration:
6.5 hours including all required assessments

Open Course - £69 + vat includes manual and 3 year certification
Group Course - £690 + vat for up to 12 delegates.
