Who the course is for

This course is suitable for those responsible for the safe evacuation of people who are not able to be evacuated using a standard Evac Chair, or in situations where you need to quickly transport injured casualties from a dangerous environment.

What the course covers

  • Overview of Fire Safety Regulations and safe evacuation
  • Using correct manual handling techniques to avoid harm to handlers
  • Safe Lifting of wheelchair users to place onto the Mat
  • Securing the patient ready to evacuate
  • Descending stairways and traversing corridors.

Course Duration:
3 hours

Course Cost:
£450 for up to 6 Delegates per group at our premises in Leicestershire
£580 for up to 6 Delegates per group own site within 40 miles of Leicester
£690 for up to 6 Delegates per group own site within 60 miles of Leicester
