Course Information

Who the course is for
This module is approved by TfL/FORS as equivalent to SUD (Safe Urban Driving) and suitable for those wishing to achieve or maintain their FORS Accreditation at Silver or Gold level. Our course does not focus on London only topics and discussions, and includes a more varied approach to protecting vulnerable road users and looks at a broader range of city related issues, across the Midlands and UK.
Our course has a practical approach, with drivers taking part in many group activities throughout the classroom session and includes pedestrian awareness in the practical session as well as cycle awareness.

Course Duration
3.5 hours Theory Module - Work Related Road Risks (Bronze)
3.5 Hours On-Cycle Training with discussion and observation points.

Course Cost
£72.50 + vat per person. £8.75 upload fee charged if you also required the 7 Hours Driver CPC Hours.

  • Identifying the issues that make specific road users vulnerable
  • Pedestrian Accident Black Spots in the Midlands and UK
  • Urban cycling and cyclist behaviours
  • Changing face of our streetscapes - shared space, cycle lanes
  • Defensive driving techniques and tips
  • Practical outdoor activity of experiencing cycling along busy urban roads, and observing traffic interaction with other vulnerable road users.

PLEASE NOTE ALL DRIVERS ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ON-CYCLE TRAINING unless a proven medical condition.
