Mental Health First Aid in the Workplace - Level 3 Award
Who the course is for
Line Managers, managers, heads of departments, HR Staff who have an active interest in being able to guide, advise and support employees who are struggling with mental health related issues. This Level 3 course is also required for those who wish to be a Mental Health Trainer or in the Internal Quality Assurance role.
What the course covers
- Roles and responsibilities for mental health in the workplace
- Importance of own well-being as a mental health first aider
- Common mental health conditions including anxiety, stress, depression, eating disorders, phobias, self harm, psychosis, suicide, PTSD, OCD, bipolar
- Promoting positive mental health in the workplace
- Appropriate coping strategies
- Providing support for employees at work
A short multiple choice test is required
